Misty Glass or Ice Effect in Photoshop
How to create a simple misty glass or Ice effect using photoshop.
This effect can be done with text, shapes or whatever you want. alright? LET'S GO!
STEP 1:
Make the shape (or whatever you're making with the glass effect)
like so:
STEP 2:
add the following layer style effects:
blending options
Inner Shadow
Outer Glow
InnerGlow
Gradient Overlay
the next ones are optional:
you can add a 1px white or black stroke to the outside
and you can add a ripple effect to it with a pattern overlay at a low opacity, like so
and that's pretty much it. it should come out like so:
